Job Description:


Location: St Laurent


Our client, a leading Sales and Services Agency, is looking for an experienced and dedicated  Account Manager  to join its dynamic team.


Manage relationship with key retail partners, for a selection of key vendor (distributor) relationships and brands.

Maintain a vertically integrated approach to their role – therefore attend meetings with vendors, to build and acquire tools and programs to submit to retailers and implement successful strategies to maximize sell-thru and continued growth.


Job Description:


  • Manage relationship between vendor partners, and develop key relationships with buyers
  • Attend sales meetings, and prepare all required documents with the support of vendors, which includes:
  • Presentations – giving and attending as needed
  • Develop retailer level strategy by brand, analyze sales trends, to develop optimal proposal x brand x retailer
  • Planogram and promotional programs
  • Create and submit all necessary retailer information: Item creations, price increases, PPK/UPC changes, delisting’s’ and markdowns, etc....


  • Manage marketing requests from retailers, i.e. e-comm, visuals for flyers, ad mats, etc.
  • Manage external customer product portals for given retailers and brands
  • Create, manage, and deliver sales tools for field representatives, including:
  • sell sheets, ‘model inventories’, liquidation forms for brands and retailers overseen
  • present and train field team on brands and new products and provide required support tools
  • Achieve sales targets for all given brands and retailers
  • Monitor sales, and follow-up to ensure we are meeting buyers’ sales targets, and shift strategy as needed to maximize sales (promotional calendar, rep support, eventing, etc...within companies’ resources and respecting vendor budgets)
  • Coordinate buying show setup, and attend as needed



Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • 3 years of experience in field sales and/or consumer packaged goods sales support

Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or another relevant field

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French
  • Very strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel including V-lookup, pivot tables, and SAP experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and public presentation skills
  • Experience within the health, beauty, and fragrance markets

  • Work hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm - Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Limited travel – store visits and trade shows as needed within the Quebec region, possible trip to visit vendors maximum x2 yearly
