Job Description:

Position: Production Coordinator

Industry Sector: Fashion & Apparel

Location: St-Laurent  

Are you a Production Coordinator seeking a new challenge? If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you.

Duties may include but not limited to

• Facilitate production and manage the flow of communication and changes to factories, agents and staff
• Ensure that deliveries are met in a timely matter
• Follow up on all costing, sampling and prices
• Handle shipment documentation to confirm accuracy
• Send tech packs and artwork to makers
• Answering calls and emails in a timely manner
• Analyze daily communication to highlight and anticipate any problems
• Receive and distribute incoming courier packages from the vendors

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• 5 years previous experience as an Production/Import Coordinator
• Experience with both knits and woven is preferred
• Knowledge of fabric and garment construction
• Must be able to keep up with deadlines and responsibilities
• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written, French an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Able to take initiative to follow through on open items
