Position: Retail Relationship Builder

Company: Consumer goods

Salary: up to 70K+ bonus

Location: Province of Quebec and Surrounding Areas

 **ABILITY FOR SOME TRAVEL ACROSS THE REGION IS REQUIRED (50% OF THE TIME) MUST LOVE TO BE ON THE ROAD**  

Seeking an experienced, fully bilingual, Retail Relationship Builder  with demonstrated experience in store retail management. The successful candidate will contribute to building our client’s future retail by actively working on its on-going evolution. You will be accountable to meet and exceed sales goals, pursue growth, mentor as well as maintain our client’s brand standards, mission statement and strategies.  Ideal candidate must be customer service driven, a store opener and possess a passion for the retail industry.

Snapshot of the role but not limited to  

  • Act as liaison between head office and stores
  • Develop capabilities to deliver results within each store
  • Assist with developing and managing project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful and timely store openings
  • Takes ownership and commitment for delivering results; actively aware of personal and store metrics and achieve goals
  • Audit and inspect stores to ensure adherence to brand standards
  • Develop action plan to  improve overall operations performance
  • Establish and build a trusting relationship with stores by conducting valuable, purpose-driven store visits with operational intensity to improve business results
  • Work on continuous improvement of processes and procedures; pursue new opportunities for locations and strategies to increase sales
  • Observe, assess and score the store based on the pre-set brand standard audit
  • Coach in the moment to educate and inspire
  • Communicate and share brand standards and available resources
  • Establish clear business goals and financial targets  

What makes you successful  

  • Minimum of 3 years retail store management experience (food experience an asset)
  • Experiences in sales, operations and/or customer service areas are strong assets
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English A MUST
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Must present a positive, professional and energetic attitude; strong conflict management skills required
  • Ability to work with and influence a variety of personality types
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Demonstrates high leadership and people development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Some travel required
  • Available to work flexible hours – evenings, weekends, extended hours
  • Must be able to identify talent and assist leaders in developing strong leadership skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Must be able to build strong and cohesive relationships with Head Office and Operations team
  • Valid driver’s license and a car
