Job Description:

Title: Fashion Designer/ Tech Pack Technician |  

Profile:   A person who is dynamic, creative, positive, detailed, and has good communication skills. This person is required to work 5 days a week on site at the Montreal office.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate/design vision and emerging trends into assigned categories.
2. Experience in trend research and mood boards creation.
3. Ability to do detailed technical sketches.
4. Detailed technical packages (detailed flat sketches, fabric information and trim details).
5. Sketching, tech packs, and development with factories overseas.
6. Measuring and analyzing SMS, T.O.P, and production samples.
7. Assist in fittings.
8. Communication and follow up with overseas factories regarding fit issues and garment constructions.
9. Ability to create prints and cad designs.
10. Assist the team with various tasks depending on the needs.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role -
2. Must have a diploma in Fashion Design.
3. Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines.
4. Must be detail oriented.
5. Strong communication skills in English and French. (written and spoken)
6. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
