Job Description:
Our client, a global leader in consumer products, specializes in creating merchandise for all demographics, offering a comprehensive range of private labels, branded collections, and influencer-backed celebrity products. They are seeking a Sales Director to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct sales forecasting and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Work closely with the production, design, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and delivery of customer expectations.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with retail partners.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably in the apparel, manufacturing or retail industry. Majors experience a must
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting, market analysis, and retail operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with apparel manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
