Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in consumer products, specializes in creating merchandise for all demographics, offering a comprehensive range of private labels, branded collections, and influencer-backed celebrity products. They are seeking a Sales Director to join their team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Work closely with the production, design, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and delivery of customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with retail partners.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably in the apparel, manufacturing or retail industry. Majors experience a must
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, market analysis, and retail operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with apparel manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
